About The Racing Whine
The Racing Whine is a weekly comic newspaper about F1 YouTube. Each week we go through every new video from the channels we follow and cover the week the way a red-top would: the headlines, the feuds, the grievances and the gossip.
How it's made
Every video is transcribed and scored minute by minute by a system we built and tuned against hundreds of hand-labelled clips. That's how the stories get picked. AI drafts the pieces, and then I rewrite, cut and check every one before it goes out. Yes, the whole staff is me.
Every quote is checked against the video it comes from, and a week with a quote that can't be checked doesn't publish. Each footnote links to the second it was said, so you can hear it for yourself.
The small print
It's satire. The jokes are ours; the quotes are theirs. The Racing Whine isn't affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or any of the creators it covers.
When we get it wrong
When a story turns out to be wrong, we put it right and list the correction at the foot of its week, with the date.
